Trying to break bad habits health wise. One at a time. I have a love for snack cakes, made worse by the fact that from where I stand at the register at work I stare at the lil Debbie shelf for the entire 7+ hour shift. I think this coming week it will be 4 weeks since I’ve had one. Whoop!! I’m so excited.
Now that I’ve got a handle on that I’m working this week on cutting out the variety of candy I’m surrounded by. The problem is I just really want chocolate since I’m trying to not eat it. Obviously it’s all in proportion, but I’d like to establish the habit of eating none of the things I usually do at work before I allow myself treats(very very infrequently).
I packed myself dinner. Carrots an apple and peanut butter and a ham sandwich. One step at a time. Along with switching to diet I’ve been drinking a lot less soda in general. So that’s been a big success. Now if this trend can continue. I’m actually surprised at how easy the little Debbie thing has been. I also have a ton of crackers and peanuts leftover from rolex(thank you Sams Club).
The next step is to start exercising more. Bike riding is top of the list.

To be honest about myself I have absolutely no self control or self motivation. I know that. It is why I weigh what I do. But this winter I was lucky enough to have a horse fall into my lap, so I decided to buy her. I don’t know what is going to happen, but if she stays long term(she will be 1yo at the end of May), I want to be healthy enough and light enough to be the one that gets to start her, or to do a big part of it. I don’t want to miss out on riding in general. But to justify it I need to get myself healthy. Hopefully this little filly is a huge motivation for me. I think she will be, she has been a lot of fun to have around already.

2/2 this week. Haha. It is only Tuesday. But the upside to working these stupid 5 to close shifts is that I have all morning alone to workout and get it done. I’m determined. Trying to see if I can take off in the 5-10lbs from consistently working out before Rolex, in just over 2 weeks. I know that seems like a lot, but by not really changing anything but being more active it is a reality. Because I do nothing usually. I WILL DO IT.

Found a squat challenge video I really like and a short arm video that was painful. I have no upper body strength, so it should be a basic that will help.

Time to kick my butt in gear. Finding a workout to do on demand.
